well HELLO there!
its been almost two months since my last post!
that was the first day of hari raya! haha
soooooooo much has happened these past months...
its the reason why this blog is close to dead

first of all, i have to say that i have finally graduated baby!
i am DONE with high school..and school in general!
well except for uni, but just let me enjoy this moment for a bit
i am soooo happy that i have finally, finalllly FINISHED school!
man! 12 years!
that's crazy
i've been at school for practically my whole life and now i never have to anymore...
that's just weird..
awesome!
but a bit sad too..

there's definitely things i am NOT going to miss...
from now on,

i will never have to wear that uniform ever again!

i hope i can slowly love the colour blue again...
and not get so turned off by blue clothes

i will never get that horrible smell that school gives you..

no matter what school..there's always that 'school smell'
right? right?
its that smell from what i think is a mixture of teenage body odours, books, stationery, locker bays, portables, the actual school building, the walls, floors, tables and chairs..
i hate that smell!

i will never have to worry about that 9 o'clock bell!

because of this, 9 AM has such a bad connotation to me..
9 AM just means 'gotta be in homegroup now! hurry up!'
run run run!

i will never have to wait at the front of the school to be picked up again

time seems to go by so much slower when i'm waiting to be picked up after school...
carrying all those books have caused a chronic ache in my shoulders and the wind can be so annoying at times-blowing my scarf way out of place and blowing sand into my eyes and on cold wintry days, it just made me turn into ice! andd not to forget the million eyes that constantly stare at me...i dunno why but all these passer-bys and drivers just stareee at me as if they've never seen a person wait to be picked up before! i think its because of me wearing a scarf but i am so SICK of having to prove myself la..bloody hell ah..

apart from the above, of course there will be things that i will miss dearly..
i will miss hanging out with my friends..seeing their sleepy faces in the morning and crazy hyper-ness after recess and lunch..haha
i will definitely miss all the jokes and all the funny things that happen in school..
i'll miss laughing with and at my friends..hahaha
laughing till tears roll down my face...ohh the memories!
good times, good times..

nov 18th is probably a date that i will remember
for the rest of my life
or probably just for the next few months..haha
it was the day of my last exam
the three weeks before that, i have been studying like crazy...
my brain was close to exploding
i was cramming all this information in
it was madness
all i did was sleep, study, sleep, study
ok la, maybe that's exaggerating..but still!
apart from going to the actual exams, i was at home for the whole three weeks!
i had all these notes all over my table..
all these words that i was trying to memorise
somehow, even when i took a break..my mind always found a way to relate it to stuff i was studying..
it was insane
thank god its all over!
wooohoooo!

well..i can safely say that i am now finally and truly
FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
i have waited so long for this...and its here! its finally here!
but funny enough..i have 'post graduation symptoms'
i STILL question myself if i have any homework that i have to do...any due dates that i have forgotten about..any tests that i need to study for..
but two seconds after this, i'll realise that i have NO MORE SCHOOL..
and man! its the best feeling!

my family came and i've been busy with school too...

what has happened to me?

i watched the wimbledon finals last night..
and i really mean the WHOLE night!
i slept at 7 in the morning!
it kept delaying because of the damn rain
nevertheless, it was such a great match!
my heart was beating like crazy during that last game!
it was another rare moment in my life where i really really really want someone to win and my heart starts beating like crazy and i'm sitting on the edge of the couch and my hands cover my mouth in anticipation of the result...
it was like when i was watching that match that qualified the socceroos to the last world cup
(the penalties at the end, that was intense!),
or the socceroos match against italy (still hate that referee)
or pretty much everytime i watch amazing race and prison break
OR believe it or not,
when guy sebastian won australian idol..

of course i wished it was marat in the final (he will, soon, he will)
but it was, no surprise here, the number 1 and number 2
i didn't know who to go for, cause i kinda sick of these two winning everything! especially roger!
after rafa was so close to winning the first two sets, i dunno why or how but i really wanted him to win! he was so close too, but irritatingly enough, roger started to fight back and even more irritating, it started to rain...
i can't believe roger won the two sets after that...bloody hell
he just had to win something didn't he? sebok aje

however, the last game was...

still half asleep, i tried to find my phone that is always displaced, somewhere on my bed...after a few seconds of aimlessly running my fingers around my head and pillow, i got up and tried again, properly this time, realising too that i didn't feel that tiredness and slight body aching that i usually feel when i wake up for school...i soon found my phone, puzzled at how it gotten INSIDE the pillow case...i was so eager to see what time it was because i had the feeling that i had slept in...to my surprise, it was already ten! i DID slept in! and not only by ten or fifteen minutes, but by THREE hours! omg! knowing that i had a free last, meaning i get to go home at 1, i didn't know if i should go to school or not..i'll only spend about one and a half hours at school but its only the fifth day of school! and i was planning not to go to the swimming carnival on friday..so i'll have two days off this week if i don't go today...what to do? what to do? i still can't believe that i've slept in till ten...i realised that i didn't even hear my alarm clock (really just my trusty phone) went off...i went downstairs to ask abang, who was sleeping..of course..he said no..but does that mean that he's just lazy to send me?
i've decided just to stay home..i'll only spend about an hour in school and it'll just be a waste of time and effort..and.....

just came back from singapore...in kl now...but in 5 days, i'll be off to hollywood! yay! the whole family is going to Los Angeles for a week, then we're driving to LAS VEGAS!!! i can't wait!!!! it's been YEARS since we've been on a proper holiday...it's always been australia, singapore, malaysia, australia, singapore, malaysia, australia, singapore, malay.. k i think you got it..yeah...so we going to the U S of A !!! yipee! i hope i get to see a celebrity...how exciting will that be?! (hey that rhymed) and i hope i get to go to on ALL those thrill rides!!! so exciting!!! and i wanna go to disneyland and universal studios and all the theme parks but it costs alot of $$$..but i reallyy wish i get to because we've already travelled so far...it'll be a waste if we didn't go...and i think i will actually wake up early for once...sunset is at4! it's goin to be COLD!!! but it's ok...i like cold...

soo......hari raya came...it was something i was looking forward to for a long time...longer than usual...strangely...i think it's because i have the sha-girls to celebrate with now....and yes i mean you- shafeera, shafiqah, shaheera & shazah...and also waheeda and now zafirah too.. : )
and of course mummy, bapak and danial came....and ate my kuih-kuih that i have made for them..haha...kidding...k anyways...i was so happy on the last day of puasa...went to the sha-girls' home for buka then we takbir and THEN we played with BUNGA API! heeee...so exciting...we came back so late that night even though we knew we had to wake up to sembayang hari raya the next day...i think i only got two or three hours of sleep! so on the first day of hari raya, went to the hall......
LATE! we didn't even get to sembayang hari raya...haiyo...terok sekali...but we still got there and we still had that forgiving and hugging moment where everyone gets so emotional...everyone just get filled with 'emotions...(taking me over...caught up in sorrow...lost in the sun...)' ok...i'll stop..
yeah...so that moment...then we ate...which was life-threatening because i was wearing white and any of those sambal or rendang on me is a big NO NO!
ok la..not life-threatening...but still! the 'theme' was either to wear white or black, and as i didn't have any black..i had to wear white...so.....we went 'jalan-ing', there was like five or six cars together! it was fun...we went jalan-ing till late...again...even though we knew we had to wake early again tomoro...
the second day of hari raya...we went jalan-ing in a bus! five families in a bus! it was fun...we even played uno...i was so tired by the end of the weekend...i didn't get enough sleep for three days...went to school late on monday...
then on wednesday...we had our 'mini' open house...after i came back from school...it was about two hours of madness! we were getting all the stuff ready and i was in charge of making desserts and spaghetti...made three desserts and a big pot of spaghetti in two hours! that was crazy! i was running around like a maniac! "she's a maniac, maniac, on the floor" ok i'll stop..
actually abang helped with some of it...but still! it was crazy...but i guess that's how it'll be in a restaurant..so good practise, good practise...
k...what else? oh..we got a dvd recorder on friday! i was so happy! being the tv addict that i am...i can now record and not have to worry about missing out! yipee!
k...what else? oh...by the weekend...we went jalan-ing again...then on sunday...i sold my cookbooks...i was surprised that people were agreeing to buying it so easily...i didn't think i would sell much but! i sold all of it! all fifteen! even the display copy was sold! haha...good business eh?
then by that night mummy, bapak and danial had to balik m'asia...it was a really short time that they were here...now abang and me are alone again...
at night...all you'll hear is us clicking on our 'mouses'..wait, mouses? mice? nvm
then two days ago was feera's bday! made her a cake...

and we played foosball! i LOVE that thing man! i want one! i can spend the whole day playin that...

k finally...today was muck-up day for the year twelves! the school WAS A MESS! when i came to school...there was toilet paper everywhere...there was confetti, glitter, shaving cream, flour, writings on the walls, door and offices! oh and the teachers were COVERED in shaving cream and flour...even the principal! most of them went home to take a shower and a change of clothes and they came back in jeans..it was strange seeing the teachers in jeans...anywho...their tables and chairs in their offices were wrapped in foil and cling wrap...there was confetti everywhere! the hallways were covered with confetti and glitter...there was shaving cream on MY locker...there was fart bombs in the toilets and the blocks...they also had jumping castle and a mechanical bull at the basketball court...i missed the whole thing though...they came at 7.30 in the morning and 'sabo-ed'(?) the whole school and staff....it looked like a lot of fun...would have been great to actually see them 'sabo' the teachers...but anywho..WE'VE got one more year...so watch out! we've already planned ideas...it's going to be great! by the way...as of today...i'm already a year twelve student! yay..but..i feel old...and though i didn't personally know the year twelves, i feel sad that they're not going to be in school anymore..we're probably never gonna see them again..well except for the exams..but after that..they'll be gone! we've known them for five years and now we're not gonna see them anymore...and we're be the oldest now! we've got to be "role models"...

AND! i actually did the sensible thing and used a plastic over my left hand when i was cutting the chillies...they're now burn-free! ; )
the last time i cut a whole bunch of chillies, being the idiot that i am, i "thought" i could handle it..so i just carried on cutting the chillies with my bare hands...i think we all know what happened...

halo! haven't posted for a while.......again....

the days have been tiring and boring...

been fasting for three days now..have to pay back...i just buka a few

halo! long time no post...been lazy...

today was EXO DAY! it's for the FREE TO BE KIDS foundation and i'm proud to say i helped out the whole day....and hopefully a kid's life out there too...
the fundraiser was a success! we collected almost 4 GRAND! it was double the amount we were expecting...thanks kambrya!
there was so many things that happened...i didn't have to do any work too! haha...i think it's the first time that i came to school and not have to do any 'book/subject related' work...i didn't even go to any classes...me and the rest of the business class volunteered to help out...we were selling the stuff that the kids in india had made like bags, jewellery, teddies, keychains...there were sausage sizzles, there were bands playing AND there was a teacher-slave auction! yes, teachers as slaves...about a dozen teachers were auctioned off to be slaves to the students with the highest bids...it was only for today's and tomorrow's lunchtimes but it's still a great opportunity to
MAKE THEM SUFFER! "kneel down and kiss my foot!" hah hah hah
no la...just kidding...it wasn't to that extend...
one was just buying some kids mcdonald's for lunch tomoro, which i think is not worth it when you can get them to do more useful things like signing late passes or an early leave, OR,

*inhales* *exhales* ahhh...the fresh air...i'm back in melbourne...it's so beautiful here...so clean and clear...and the weather's PRETTY NICE TOO! it's bloody freezing! its about TWO degrees now...i'm wearing three tops and two bottoms...and i've been wearing gloves to sleep..haha...

what a week it has been...me and abang tried THREE times to get on the flights back to melbourne...i packed and unpacked, packed and unpacked, packed and unpacked, packed and unpacked, and packed! k i think you get the point...anyways, we finally got seats on the fourth try, we went to see the captain to ask for jump seats...had to act so polite and once again show the please-be-kind-and-help-me-get-on-the-flight-face (like Puss-in-Boots)...hai..i'm sick of stand-by tickets...then after all the trouble, the captain just effortlessly said, "ok la.." like seriously, effortlessly! we've been packing and unpacking and waking up early in the morning, driving up and down, up and down to KLIA...which is like a million miles away from KL itself! how stupid are they to make an airport, naming it KUALA LUMPUR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, when it takes about an hour from KUALA LUMPUR to get there! haiyo! kk, should stop rambling...dah bagus boleh balik..*inhales* *exhales* ahh...fresh air...

k sooo...what else? oh ya, i watched disturbia on the plane...god, if you haven't seen it, and if you don't soon, you're an idiot...david morse plays the bad guy in almost everything! and he kept appearing out of nowhere in the movie...k i won't continue for those who haven't seen it...andd shia lebeouf has really grown up hasn't he? remember him on even stevens? andd he's in almost everything now..he's on disturbia, transformers(which i'm dying to see...yes...i haven't seen it...shame on me, yar i'm an idiot too) and he'll be in the next indiana jones...rising star arh...actually i think he already "rised" before with holes...remember holes? but he "rised" further now...hahaha...what the hell am i sayin?

because of the overbooked flights, i've missed another week of school...i really don't want to know how much i have to catch up on...i wish there was a way around it....i think i'll be sleeping late for the next week and i'll have a lot of trouble waking up in the morning especially with the cold weather...all you want to do IS sleep in winter...you knock off in a minute...and you just dose off for hours and hours and you don't realise you've slept that long...it's the side effects of the winter drug...

i've been baking cookies the whole day for a pot-luck/bbq on saturday...goin back to singapore tomoro...well actually it's today already(it's three in the morning)...would have been better to make something more interesting like a cheesecake or trifle...but i don't have an electric beater or a weighing scale....i don't have much to use from, here in malaysia...let alone singapore! i've been using one measuring cup to measure everything! i've had to wash it like twenty times in fifteen minutes to measure the wet and dry ingredients separately.... i hardly have any proper bowls, measuring cups or spoons...i've been guessing my measurements along the way and using a single bowl for all my cooking/baking...i miss my kitchen in melbourne...i miss my blue tupperware measuring cups and my digital weighing scale (which i just got and haven't fully gotten over the fact that it can tare off the bowl's weight! ya i know, 'jakon')...the kitchen is one of the few things i'm looking forward to when i get back to melbourne...i haven't spend enough time in singapore and i'm reluctantly going back to mel this coming monday...so fast! i've been stuck in malaysia just about 99% of the whole month's holiday...the boredom almost killed me...when i shouted "BORING LA!!!", mummy repeated once again (assertively of course) "boring kan tinggal kat sini"...hai..

haven't posted in almost a week...

went back to singapore for the weekend, well pretty much just a day...arrived late on friday night and left sunday afternoon...on saturday, went to a wedding and then spent the rest of the day at my aunty's...i did't know the national stadium was going down...would have seen the parade if i knew...did i miss anything good? i didn't know which one to support for the match..singapore or australia? in the end, singapore couldn't even score one against socceroos...what a let down for the final match at the national stadium....

i'm in malaysia now...it's so weird...suddenly i'm here...suddenly it's so hot, suddenly star world is on tv...suddenly i'm eating ikan bakar while a 'rock mat' sings eric clapton's wonderful tonight a few metres away(got to say, surprisingly, he's not that bad)... i mean, i was just in the 'routine' before...i was just getting ready for school...i was just late for school again(there was an assembly and everyone was already in the theatre and when i came in, i think everyone was glaring at me, so embarassing), i was just in business management class, desperately waiting for it to be over while ms kyprianos tries to shut the class up yet again...i was just waiting for abang to pick me up, waiting, in front of the school, more than half an hour after the bell had went, looking like an idiot as i'm always the last one to be picked up, there's like NO ONE else there, like a deserted school and the 'crickets are cricketing' in the background, and i'm still waiting for him...only to find out later that he was still sleeping...probably in that 'evil' mattress, yes, 'EVIL', it's the mattress that will make you sleep no matter how many red bulls you have drank...

so back to my story on...wait..what day was that? i've even lost track.....on...wednesday...yes wednesday...in the morning, on the way to school, abang told me that bapak said that i should try the night flight...this was in the morning...on the way to school! i haven't even packed and my room was a mess! the whole day in school i was thinking if i should go or not...go or not? go or not? and it didn't help that i was getting my exam results back...which was disappointing really...didn't do the best i could have for accounting and business, even though i slept at 1 or 2 studying for it! and surprisingly, i got the highest mark out of the class for the exam that i didn't even study much for - english...yes, english..the subject that didn't think much of because i knew i'd probably just get average...the opposite always happens doesn't it? so anyways, went back home and bapak called, insisting to try the night flight as it was the only flight that wasn't overbooked...and so i 'had my mine set' on packing, airport, plane, flying, unappealing plane food...i was going to pack but was super hungry so went down to get food then wanted to watch tv but nothing good was on so went up to watch prison break on computer...see la...can watch prison break some more....i said to myself that i was just going to watch one episode...denying the fact that i KNEW that wasn't going to happen...while watching, bapak called and said the night flight was now overbooked too...back to square one, go or not? go or not? bapak said just pack your bag and he will call again later to see if it's worth it to try...and so i continued my prison break...bags still unpacked...i ended up watching 2 and a half episodes...prison break is so addictive! the cliff hangers are too good...then, bapak called again and said try the night flight...sooo the thought of packing, airport, plane, flying, unappealing plane food entered my mind once again...so i packed my bag in record breaking time, got ready, and was off to the airport...

got to the airport and there was a huge line! but luckily, i didn't have to go through that as i was on stand by and all i had to do was go the last counter and show my please-be-kind-and-help-me-get-on-the-flight face...haha...(like the one Puss-in-Boots had in Shrek)...the lady said come back at 11.30...so me and abang went to mcdunall to get the one meal we can only eat - fish o' fillet or as mummy once said "fillet o' chips" hahaha (she wanted to say that she got fillet o' fish and chips but as what you're thinking and what you want to say don't always come out right...the term "fillet o' chips" was blurted out)...sooo...came back at 11.30 then got 'just-in-case checked in'...i didn't know if i was on the flight yet...after my bag got tagged, was told to wait for another 5 to 10 minutes...was waiting anxiously...talking to abang..then i sort of heard the guy said to the other guy "so estehfa's on"...ok, so he said 'estehfa' the most annoying mispronunciation of my name but..it's ok...i think he said i got on the flight...BUT i still didn't know completely if i was on or not...so..still waiting anxiously...then a few minutes later...a guy gave me a boarding pass! i was on! yay! THEN...i realised that the boarding pass had a different colour to what i usually got and it said 'golden club class' so i was like "oh my god! is that a business class seat?! did i get upgraded?!" abang had it in his hands and realised my seat was 3J then i KNEW i got upgraded because his face turned into PURE ENVY..hahahahaha...he has never been on business or first class before...i couldn't stop laughing when his face changed when he realised my seat number...hahaha...so...i hurried off to the plane, found MY business class seat and settled in...there was so many buttons for the seat! to recline, to raise your legs upright, to bring in more support for your back, to massage, to rotate 360 degrees....ok la, maybe not that...AND they served me satay, on proper plates with metal forks and spoons...you can cross out unappealing plane food for sure...AND the toilet was so spacious...don't you hate the toilets in economy where it's almost less than a metre big and you can't even wash your hands properly because the sink is like an inch wide...ok, maybe i overly exaggerated...

eh...i have rambled on too long...have to stop...so ya...that was what happened and it all happened so quickly...like bang...Bang...BANG! had to fly at night, exam results, didn't have to fly then had to fly then got a seat then business class seat!

ok then, i should go...i think this will probably be the longest i have and will write for a post...

the dough was made last night...refrigerated then went through the process of 'book fold' today...the rolling took SO long...
how early do those bakers wake up in the morning?!

taste? it's soooo good!!! seriously...they taste like the really expensive ones you buy at the bakeries! it takes such a long time but it's worth it! great recipe...it's a keeper : )

tgif! it's a long weekend...four days! plus i'll have school on wednesday then on thursday, there's no need for me to go to school..so off again..then friday i'll have school..then its the weekend then monday i'm off to m'asia! yay!

my brains are going to explode...i need more sleep too....i am so worried about my math exam...i really think i won't be able to answer most of the questions...it's too much! plus i've had this neck ache for like months now...it's getting worst because of the cold...why won't it go away?

i'll be so happy at 1 o'clock tomorrow...it'll be the end of exams...

the girl from youtube?? well...she got signed with justin timberlake's new recording company! how great is that?! she was just any other ordinary singer on youtube...now she's a signed music artist! she's so lucky...she's got a great voice...that's why...

EXAM TIME! done four...i've got two to go...i have math last! i don't usually have trouble with math but its really hard this year! stress! then on the 12th i have my learner's test! i really hope i get it, if not i will be the biggest idiot....

2 days till my birthday! danial and parents came today...

it's almost winter now...been sick for almost a week...got a cold from the change of weather...yesterday was one of the worst days...my head hurt every time i coughed...my nose and ears are blocked and i'm losing my sense of taste....i was sick just two weeks ago...and now i got it again...not happy...

a week till exams! haven't studied and i can't be bothered with this cold...it always happens that i get sick right before something important/big, e.g exams...
